Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute IT strategies that align with the organization’s objectives, ensuring that technology initiatives support overall business goals.
- Needs Assessment: Assess organizational needs to determine technology requirements, recommending solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and security.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from start to finish, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Project Planning: Create comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that all elements are in place for successful execution.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, adjust as necessary, and communicate any changes to stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- IT Systems Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Data Management: Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and safeguard critical business information.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards, safeguarding the organization’s assets.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring that services meet organizational needs and expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including department heads, senior management, and external partners, to ensure project alignment and understanding.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to promote efficient, secure, and compliant operations.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all IT activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, mitigating risk and ensuring operational integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, security, and data management best practices.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs
