** Note: As per operating our construction business, you may be required to work for different work sites than our registered company address depending on a project by project.
l Key Duties and Responsibilities:
– Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
– Erect and dismantle walls, building roofs, concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
– Mix, pour and spread materials
– Assist heavy equipment operators
– Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
– Assist in framing houses, and demolishing buildings
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
– Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials
l Education: Secondary High School
l Experience: Experience an asset
l Language: English
l Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
l Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots; Safety glasses/goggles; Gloves; Ear plugs
l Work Site environment: Outdoors; Dusty
l Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail
