We are looking to hire a Head Chef to join our company in Hazukido Café.

Chef perform some or all of the following duties:
- Kitchen Operations & Supervision – Plan and oversee food preparation, cooking activities, and kitchen workflow across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Food Preparation & Presentation – Prepare and present high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency, flavor, and creativity in every plate while maintaining Hazukido’s signature pastry techniques.
- Menu Planning & Quality Control – Develop menus, maintain quality standards, estimate food and labor costs, and ensure optimal ingredient selection.
- Inventory & Cost Management – Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, ordering, and food storage to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Team Management & Training – Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff; supervise sous-chefs, pastry chefs, and cooks; delegate tasks and provide mentorship.
- Equipment Maintenance & Purchasing – Arrange for kitchen equipment purchases, repairs, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaboration & Service Coordination – Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and smooth communication between the kitchen and dining areas.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance – Implement and enforce strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Specialty Cooking & Innovation – Introduce new techniques, oversee special meal preparation for events, and innovate seasonal or specialty pastry offerings.
Qualifications:
Minimum education: Completion of secondary school is usually required.
Minimum experience: 1-2 years’ related experience
