We are looking for a well experienced “Chef De Partie” for The Food Dudes Inc. located at 24 Carlaw Ave Toronto, ON M4M 2R7, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and execute a wide range of innovative, globally inspired, and Italian-influenced dishes, ensuring alignment with The Food Dudes’ award-winning culinary vision and premium brand standards.
  • Supervise and mentor line cooks and kitchen assistants, delivering ongoing training, direction, and performance feedback to ensure consistency, efficiency, and adherence to culinary excellence.
  • Oversee the preparation of meats, seafood, sauces, soups, vegetables, and pastas with meticulous attention to flavour profiles, texture balance, and modern presentation techniques.
  • Maintain strict portion control and plating consistency, ensuring every dish reflects The Food Dudes’ high-impact, chef-driven aesthetic and event-quality standards.
  • Enforce rigorous hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols in compliance with municipal health regulations and internal company policies.
  • Monitor daily ingredient usage, oversee inventory management and ordering, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste while optimizing food cost controls.
  • Coordinate closely with front-of-house staff to guarantee accurate communication and seamless, timely service delivery for both dine-in and large-scale catering events.
  • Contribute to the execution of high-profile catering engagements, weddings, corporate functions, and special events, ensuring flawless presentation and consistency under The Food Dudes’ reputation for excellence.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges during peak, high-volume service periods, maintaining quality, speed, and efficiency under pressure.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, providing input into menu innovation, workflow optimization, and enhanced guest experience strategies.

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in culinary.

Language:English

 

Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
