Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all catering service operations for weddings, corporate events, cultural functions, and large-scale receptions.
- Establish and implement service procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with kosher standards and client expectations.
- Recruit, schedule, supervise, and evaluate catering staff, service leads, and on-site teams to ensure efficient event execution.
- Direct event-day service operations, including setup, service flow, and breakdown, ensuring timelines and service standards are met.
- Manage inventory and service supplies, including forecasting needs, coordinating procurement, and ensuring availability for scheduled events.
- Monitor service revenues, labour usage, and operational costs, adjusting staffing and procedures to maintain efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and kosher food-handling requirements across all catering activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, resolving service issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Coordinate closely with culinary teams, logistics staff, and external vendors to align service delivery with menu execution and event plans.
- Conduct post-event reviews to assess service performance, address issues, and implement improvements for future events.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience in Food Industry
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36 to $38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
