Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail is critical for recognizing health issues. Hand-eye co-ordination. Standing for extended periods, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing. Weight handling up to 23kg.

Work Site Environment: Frequently working outdoors in extreme temperatures, noise, and dusty conditions.
Equipment and Machinery Experience (will Train): Farm truck, Lift truck, Tractor, Loader, Forklift
Specific Skills and Requirement:
Monitor animal health.
Feed and tend animals.
Tracking animal health data, feed intake, and inventory using recording systems.
Detect disease and health problems in livestock while checking pens daily to identify sick, injured, or distressed animals, administering vaccinations, and assisting with treatment protocols.
Sorting, tagging, and moving cattle between pens or for transport.
Maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Operating tractors, feed trucks, and other farm machinery and equipment for feeding, manure removal, and general maintenance.
Clean barns, pens, and yards; repair fences; maintain water systems; and handling manure management.
General yard maintenance and clean up.
Stone and/or wood picking.
Examine produce for quality and prepare for market.
Any other duties as assigned.
Automated Systems Experience: Bulk grain or feed handling – automated, Manure handling and storage, Feeding and watering system, Storage and silage system.
Type of Farm Operations: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots.
Specialized Livestock Workers Specific Skills: Weaning, Cattle training, Cattle exhibition, Calving, Feed inventory, Handling animals, Livestock branding.
