Responsibilities and Tasks
· Skin, clean and trim carcasses.
· Clean viscera and other inedible parts of meat or poultry product.
· Split carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling.
· Cut carcasses, or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
· Scale meat and poultry products for further packaging.
· Prepare processed meat or poultry for commercial or other wholesale use.
· Follow all worksite safety regulations and other applicable standards.
· Communicate effectively to ensure work are being performed as assigned and required.
